Author Visits
Doug Florian visited in December of 2016. The children loved him. He is an author that is interactive and has the ability to engage all students. He has written a number of poetry books that have great rhythm and is easy to read.
Julie Salamon, The Cat in the City and Mutt's Promise, visited in early 2016. Her stories are ones that engage students fully in the storyline. Her stories are engaging and about animals. Mutt's Promise is my favorite. Her story kept me guessing and emotional throughout the story.
Upcoming Authors
Jannie Pilgrim, Author: Breakfast for a Prince, Prince Garrett's Journal, How the Moth Turned Into a Butterfly
Patrick Oliver, Author: On My Own: Vision Board Guidebook for Young People!
